Diamond quartz crystals are similar to the Herkimer diamonds from the state of New York that we are all familiar with, but they originated in Baluchistan, Pakistan. Pakistani diamond quartz are double-terminated quartz crystals with a hexagonal growth pattern that grows in cavities in the rock that often contain hydrocarbons and hematite. Hydrocarbons and hematite are often seen as dark inclusions in the crystal.
They are beautifully transparent and clear, while some may be slightly smoky, have small black inclusions. Double terminated quartz crystals can absorb, amplify and release energy from both ends at the same time, making them a fantastic stone for cleaning and balancing the chakras. Very good to use for meditation. Very good for repelling negative energy or for creating clarity.
